A Two-Terminal Fault Location Fusion Model of Transmission Line Based on CNN-Multi-Head-LSTM with an Attention Module

Most traditional artificial intelligence-based fault location methods are very dependent on fault signal selection and feature extraction, which is often based on prior knowledge. Further, these methods are usually very sensitive to line parameters and selected fault characteristics, so the generalization performance is poor and cannot be applied to different lines. A natural laminar flow (NLF) airfoil is designed to reduce drag by expanding laminar flow areas. In-depth knowledge of transition performance is essential for its aerodynamic design. The k-ω-γ-Re framework, which consists of the SST k-ω turbulence model and γ-Re transition model, is employed to simulate transitional flows around an NLF wing RAE5243 airfoil. The transition performances of the RAE5243 airfoil under various values of turbulent intensity, temperature, angle of attack, and Mach number are simulated and compared. The results show that the rise of inflow turbulent intensity will promote an earlier transition on both the suction and pressure sides. The influence of wall temperature on transition is limited. The rise of angle of attack will lead to an earlier transition on the pressure side but a later transition on the suction side. This study reports the dry reforming of methane (DRM) using non-thermal plasma in a swirl-induced point-plane electrode discharge reactor to produce syngas. This reactor geometry facilitates better mixing of the reactant gases in the plasma region, thus increasing the residence time and conversion of the reactants. The effect of varying flow rates and compositions of CO2/CH4 (v%/v%) on conversion was studied. A high-voltage AC power input of 50 W and 70 W at a frequency of 19 kHz was provided. The voltage−current characteristics with respect to time were studied. The results show that with an increase in the flow rate of the gas mixture from 0.5 to 2 LPM the conversion of both CO2 and CH4 decreases, while an increase in the concentration of CO2 or CH4 (from 25 to 75%) increases the conversion of the respective reactant. Observation of the greenhouse effect prompts the consideration of every possibility of reducing anthropogenic carbon dioxide emissions. One of the key methods that has been the subject of much research is Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage. The purpose of this study was to investigate the main technologies of CO2 capture, separation, and dehydration as well as methods of its transport and methodology of selecting a suitable geological storage site. An installation of dehydration and compression of carbon dioxide captured after the post-combustion was designed at a temperature of 35 °C, a pressure of 1.51 bar, and a mass flow rate of 2.449 million tons/year, assuming that the geological storage site is located at 30 km from the capture place. The continuous increase in the demand for electricity makes it necessary to modernize or build new transmission lines. This, in turn, results in research that is still being carried out on the optimal use of power cables. In the paper, an improved analytical method for the determination of the current rating of power cables was proposed. The method for determining the ampacity of the power cable presented in the IEC standard assumes that power losses in the phase conductors and screens are determined by taking into account skin and the proximity effects on the basis of tabulated coefficients. The methodology proposed in the paper is based on the method presented in the IEC standard, but the power losses in the conductive elements of the cable are determined analytically, which offers higher accuracy. This article is a brief and critical review of the state of the art in algae production in the food and energy industries. Review and experimental articles from the last five years were selected to recapitulate the reasons for interest in algae cultivation, for which we highlight the most valuable phytochemicals passing through their niches in the food market, their bioenergetic potential and the possible uses of algal waste biomass. In addition, we punctuate the advent of algae biorefineries. The objectives of this study were to list the main points related to interest in cultivation, drawing a parallel between the establishment of algae in the food market and its potential to establish itself in the energy market. It was concluded that the use of algae biorefineries has been used as a solution for the food, chemical and energy markets, despite the need for the development of broader research on industrial scale.

This study investigates the design and development of a pyrolysis reactor for batch-type biochar production from rice husks. The main objective is to develop an appropriate technology to regulate pyrolysis temperature and biomass residence time that can be easily operated under field and household conditions with minimal operational and technical requirements. Wet foundations and walls of buildings significantly increase the energy consumption of buildings, and the drying of walls is one of the priority activities as part of thermal modernization, along with the insulation of the facades. Biofuels have become a source of renewable energy to offset the use of fossil fuels and meet the demand for electricity, heat, and cooling in the industrial sector. This study aims to (a) develop a simulation of a trigeneration system based on a gas turbine cycle and an absorption chiller unit, using biomass and syngas from spent coffee grounds (SCGs) to replace the conventional system currently supplying the energy requirements of an instant coffee plant located in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and (b) carry out an exergoeconomic analysis of the simulated system to compare the effects of different fuels. Despite the implementation of hydraulic fracturing technologies, the oil recovery in tight oil reservoirs is still poor. This paper presents the results of measuring and calculating the final energy consumption for heating and domestic hot water preparation in six apartments located in pre-war tenement houses in Wroclaw (Poland). The calculations were carried out based on energy models of dwellings calibrated with measurement data. Calculation variants were characterized by seven internal parameters (indoor air temperature, heat transfer coefficient by transmission through the internal partition, internal heat gains, air exchange multiplicity in the dwelling, domestic hot water consumption, and domestic hot water temperature and cold water temperature) and two external parameters (outdoor air temperature and insolation). The dark fermentation of lignocellulose hydrolysates is a promising process for the production of hydrogen from renewable sources. Nevertheless, hydrogen yields are often lower than those obtained from other carbohydrate sources due to the presence of microbial growth inhibitors in lignocellulose hydrolysates. Dual fuel combustion leverages a high-reactivity fuel (HRF) to ignite a premixed low reactivity fuel (LRF)−air mixture to achieve high efficiencies and low engine-out emissions. To solve the problem of evenly mixing flocculant and sewage, a new type of two-chamber mechanical pipe mixer was numerically calculated and its working principle was studied by means of the internal flow field. The single factor numerical simulation and analysis of some of the structural parameters in the mixer were carried out to determine the influence of different parameters on the results.
