Postdoc at @ULaval in Monitoring and Control, collab. with Alcoa
Prof. Carl Duchesne, in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Laval, is seeking postdoctoral fellow. The project is entitled “Development of advanced monitoring and control schemes for the primary aluminium industry,” and is in partnership with Alcoa Corporation. Funded by the National Research Council of Canada and Alcoa, the postdoc will study advanced cell monitoring and control based on individual anode electrical currents. The objective is to “improve detection and diagnosis of cell abnormal events using individual anode electrical currents.
The position pays $50,000/yr, starts September 2025, and requires either French or English fluency.
