Webinar on Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) Data Hub
The National Research Council of Canada is hosting a webinar to introduce the Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment Data Hub. The platform contains open data sets such as life cycle inventory (LCI) data sets, input/output flows, meta data, and other data that can be used within life cycle assments. It also contains assessment software and other tools for performing life cycle assessments (LCAs)
The webinar will discuss some of their most relevant data sets such as:
- Hydrogen production
- Critical minerals
- Batteries
- Carbon capture and utilization pathways.
The hosts write to us that “participants will learn about the platform’s life cycle impact analysis calculator for assessing the climate change impacts of hydrogen production in Canada” and that “researchers, industry professionals, policy makers, sustainability practitioners, and anyone interested in clean energy and sustainability data” should attend.
