Two faculty position openings at Texas A&M in Process Systems Engineering
Texas A&M has two tenure-track professor openings of interest to PSEcommunity.org readers.
- Assistant Professor of Process Systems Engineering. Prof. Faruque Hasan writes they are seeking candidates “in one or more areas of computational and algorithmic methods; scientific artificial intelligence and machine learning; multiscale modeling and simulation; large-scale optimization; and hybrid, physics, and/or data-driven approaches for the design, operation, control, and decision-making under uncertainty in processing systems. Research applications may include sustainable chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and fuels, resilient energy systems, advanced manufacturing, the circular economy, and other emerging challenges in chemical and process systems engineering.” For more information: Apply – Interfolio
- Assistant Professor in AI/ML in Chemical Engineering. Prof. Hasan writes that the position should consider “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to advance process systems design, process safety and risk analysis, optimization, characterization, and predictive modeling of materials.” For more information: Apply – Interfolio
And as always, be sure to write in your cover letter that you saw this post on PSEcommunity.org!
