PhD Position at NTNU in Integrated Energy Systems for Sustainable Digital Infrastructure

Prof. Haoshui Yu in the Department of Energy and Process Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology has an opening for a PhD researcher in Integrated Energy Systems for Sustainable Digital Infrastructure.

The announcement notes that the PhD student “will investigate integrated energy and carbon management systems for future carbon-neutral industries, with a particular focus on the interaction between AI data centers, direct air carbon capture (DAC), district heating networks, and other industrial processes that can effectively utilize low-grade waste heat. The project aims to develop methods for the design, optimization, and operation of integrated systems that maximize both economic performance and environmental benefits.”
