Postdoc @ Wisconsin in AI/ML for Computational Biology

Professor John Yin at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has announced an open post-doc position in computational biology, focusing on mechanistic modeling of viruses. He writes:

Emerging frontiers of systems and computational biology will rely on the development of methods that combine the scalability of AI/ML (to big data) with the insights offered by mechanistic modeling of physical, chemical, and biological processes. Since hunkering down, colleagues and I have had opportunity to explore new ways to combine AI/ML and ODE modeling for the smallest yet arguably most impactful organisms: viruses.

Candidates with minimal training in biology, but with strong computational and modeling experience, are encouraged to apply.

Contact Dr. John Yin for more information or with expressions of interest.
