Postdoc @NC State: Data Driven Control and Optimization

Prof. Wentao Tang at North Carolina State University has an opening for a postdoctoral position in the area of data driven control and optimization. Dr. Tang writes: “This postdoctoral researcher will work on several exploratory ideas at the interface of control theory, optimization, and machine learning, specifically, about data-driven analysis/characterization of nonlinear control systems and its implication on optimization algorithm development. ” Dr. Tang also writes that “other directions are potentially available, and new ideas from the candidates are welcomed. Rigorous mathematical training is greatly valued.” The start date is flexible but within a year.

Interested candidates should apply through the North Caroline State University Employment Site (https://jobs.ncsu.edu/postings/192572) and send a copy of their CV to Dr. Tang directly at wentao_tang@ncsu.edu.

As always, be sure to write in your cover letter that you saw this posting on PSEcommunity.org!
