The Engineer will focus on “areas where a controls methodology has not been previously attempted. They will provide data analysis, control assessment, process modelling, and benefit analysis, as well as design and implementation of advanced process control applications in a continuous manufacturing setting.”
The position requires a minimum of seven years process control experience in manufacturing, or a masters degree with four years of experience. Key qualifications require experience with advanced control techniques, software languages (C/C++/C#, Python, or similar, and PLC/DCS), software packages (Matlab, .Net, and industry-relevant packages), model identification, discrete time control design, multivariable control, Kalman filters and observers, and other qualifications.
