Professor in Separation and Purification Process Engineering @Liège
The University of Liège has a faculty opening in the Department of Chemical Engineering with a focus on Separation and Purification Process Engineering.
The posting describes important aspects of the position as being “the experimental development and modeling of highperformance separation techniques that can be used on an industrial process scale, for applications linked to the environmental and energy transition. This involves identifying the specific aspects of each operation and theorizing the limiting physico-chemical processes (thermodynamics, hydrodynamics, material and heat transfers, etc.), in order to produce predictive models that can be used for extrapolation. It is therefore based on a thorough understanding of transport phenomena in relation to unitary physical operations in the process industry.”
The requirements include the ability to teach in English.
