Postdoc @ Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center

A Keegstra Postdoctoral Research position has been announced with a focus on the identification of promising replacement bioproducts. The position is held with the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (https://www.glbrc.org/) and the candidate would interact with the labs of Prof. Mariavellas at Princeton University as well as Profs. Noguera and Thomas at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Applicants must hold a PhD in chemical engineering or closely related fields. Salary begins at $60k/yr and the position could last up to 2 years. The posting notes that “Strong computational skills, including experience in process modeling (process synthesis and simulation, optimization), de novo metabolic pathway design, will be viewed favorably.”
