Dr. Danielle Zyngier writes to us about an opening for a Supply Chain Optimization Specialist at Ingram Micro, located in Toronto, Canada. The candidate, who would join their Global Business Intelligence’s Data Science team, should be a “proactive, creative problem-solver who is motivated by the desire to deliver innovative, efficient and sustainable solutions with improved business outcomes.” The position would involve the development of optimization-based software products, as well as business development, consulting, and some research and development within the field of Supply Chain Optimization and Operations Research more broadly. 

The candidate should have a graduate degree in a relevant field (PhD preferred) and 3 or more years of relevant experience in industry or in a post-doc.
