Controls and Optimization Research Engineer Openings at GE Research

Two positions have been announced at GE Research of interest to PSEcommunity.org readers. One is an entry level, another is more senior. Both positions focus on the “Energy Transition through the development of models, advanced controls, optimization, estimation, and detection technologies.” The candidates will contribute toward R&D efforts with GE Vernova’s various energy businesses and government agency partners.

The skills and experience requirements vary by position, but include skills common to PSE such as modelling, control, optimization, programming, and algorithms, and training such as PhD or Master’s and/or related experience.
