FIPSE 4.5 – Conference Series in Vaccine Manufacturing

Since FIPSE 5 has been postponed until 2022, conference organizers have annouced FIPSE 4.5, a free webinar series over zoom. The first will take place June 22-23 in 2021. It will consist of a discussion about the goals and mission of the conference series, a presentation on vaccine manufacturing, and an industrial panel. The tentative agenda is:

  • The mission of the FIPSE conferences
    • Christos Georgakis, Tufts U.
  • FIPSE 1-4: What has been tried and achieved
    • Dominique Bonvin, EPFL
  • Presentation on: “Quality by Digital Design for vaccine process development and manufacturing”
    • Cleo Kontoravdi, Imperial College
  • Panel discussion with industrial representatives 
    • (to be announced)

To encourage live participation, the webinar will be held twice on consecutive days, for the convenience of multiple time zones:

  1. June 22nd for audiences in the USA and Europe
